Pangai is the administrative capital village of the Haʻapai Group and is located on Lifuka.
During recent years the Kingdom of Tonga and the islands of Ha'apai have been hit by multiple earthquakes and volcanic eruptions
These earthquakes have caused widespread polution to the islands fresh water supply. CRI Tonga in partnership with Omni Services Tonga have started using A2Z Ozone MP - 8000 Ozone Generators in their cleanup and the results have been quite encouraging. The water has been cleaned up and restored to the World Health Organization guidelines for pH, hardness, alkaline, chlorine, Nitrates and more.
