Best Way to Grow and Protect Your Agriculture June 29 2017, 0 Comments

Ozone in Agriculture – A2Z Ozone, Inc.

Ozonating water can provide users with many benefits. Whether it’s drinking ozonated water to boost oxygen levels in the bloodstream or washing vegetables with ozonated water to extend shelf life, ozone has numerous applications in our everyday lives. However, did you know that ozone can also be used in agriculture to boost the yield of crops? Let’s take a look at the benefits of using ozone in agriculture!

Protection

When crops are infected by disease, the results can be very detrimental to farmers. Irrigation using ozonated water helps protect crops against these contagious diseases by eliminating any harmful microorganisms on the plants. Ozonated water destroys bacteria, viruses, and fungi, which are difficult to fight using other alternative methods.

Better Growth

Since ozonated water has a higher concentration of oxygen than regular water, irrigating with ozone can promote better growth. The ozonated water that is used is free of viruses, bacteria, and any other microorganisms. By using ozonated water, crops can thrive in the best conditions possible, obtaining faster growth and better yield!

Environmental Friendly

Although pesticides and chemical agents can be used to disinfect crops, the residual chemicals left by these methods can be harmful to consumers of the produce. When using ozonated water to irrigate crops, the only byproduct is oxygen! After ozone disinfects and destroys microorganisms on the crops, it decomposes back to oxygen, leaving no harmful material behind.

Lovely Home in Vancouver

Lovely Home on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada

Have you ever considered what life would be like without potable water? A2Z Ozone, Inc. may have a solution for you. Recently, we at A2Z Ozone, Inc. heard from James whose family lives in a lovely home on wooded land on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. But water was an issue. “Our initial concern was tea-colored well water,” James tells A2Z Ozone. Not only did the water from the well run tea-colored; upon analysis, James said it contained a high content of bacteria, tannins, and manganese with a PH level of 6.8.

Taking Action!

James took action to care for his family and his dog, cat, bird, and two horses by resolving to fix the water issues. First, he chlorinated the well and water piping in the house, then drained and flushed the hot water tank. He ordered an MP-3000 Ozone Generator from A2Z Ozone, Inc. In an effort to conserve water, James upgraded the three toilets in the home to dual flush 0.8/1.28 gallon per flush toilets. He also installed both a Maytag Energy Star Certified washing machine and dishwasher.

The power of an ozone generator

The MP-3000 Ozone Generator is an excellent choice for the project James undertook. It gives up to 3 grams of ozone per hour. Considered a heavy-duty ozone generator, one of the MP-3000’s typical uses is for water sanitizing. It is known for removing bad tastes, chemicals, and the colors caused by the manganese in water. The results are phenomenal. As James put it, “…with the ozone treatment we now have sanitary, crystal clear water.” James is relieved to see pure water coming out of his faucets. He says this system provides water for washing vehicles and watering plants. He has even filled a swimming pool and a fish pond.

Technical specifications of the system

James kindly provided us with the technical specs: He connected the MP-3000 Ozone Generator to an ozone-resistant air injector (Waterite W988Z Micronizer) upstream of a 40 gallon degasser tank (the Duro 33155 FLS40D Flexpro Tank). Connected to the degasser tank are a multimedia filter (the Duro 4111 WGULTRAMF100) and an activated carbon filter with PH increase (the Duro 4913 CAN-15). Where does the excess ozone go? It is vented outside by an automatic vent valve provided by Honeywell Braukmann Q122A1001. Altogether, James spent approximately $2000 on the equipment for the project, not including the cost of a pressure tank and pump that were already in place.

Say Farewell to Bedbugs with Ozone October 13 2015, 0 Comments

Hotel owners, we have a solution to the problem that terrifies you. We can help you control bedbugs in an industry that has been under siege for more than a decade. Or, maybe you’re in denial. Maybe you say that you have the cleanest facilities in your area and you simply aren’t at risk. It’s very important to stay clean. Even so, you can still have problems with bedbugs. Bedbugs are not attracted to people because of their odor. All they are interested in is body heat that leads them to the human blood they crave. See, they travel with us, wherever we go, and we are traveling a lot these days.

Prevention

As Ben Franklin said, prevention is worth a pound of cure. So, we recommend hotel owners to use our Bed Sterilizer to keep the bugs at bay. Since bedbugs can come back in as little as three months, getting on a regular routine with our Bed Sterilizer will help. Our most successful hotel owners keep the Bed Sterilizer in use on a regular basis, making a full round of all their rooms every three to six months.

A bedbug can live for 10 months to a year and they breed all year long. They lay at least 200 eggs at a time. You need to have an action plan. Wash your bedding in hot water and dry in hot dryer, as the bedbugs will die at 140 degrees. Vacuum regularly to rid the carpets and furniture of bedbugs. And, finally, use our Bed Sterilizer in a preventative manner! It offers you the chemical free way of attacking the problem. And, as an added bonus, your mattresses will be rid of bacteria and lice. They will be rid of odors and germs. Your guests’ allergy symptoms will be relieved.

Hotel guests really appreciate a fresh-smelling bed after a long day away from home. Other types of businesses that benefit from the Bed Sterilizer are hospitals and nursing homes.

Easy to use

The Bed Sterilizer comes with everything you need to sanitize your bedding--three sets of bags and hoses. Your new Bed Sterilizer is similar to an upright vacuum cleaner in size and shape. Using A2Z Ozone’s Bed Sterilizer is easy. Just put the mattress in the airtight bag and connect the hoses to the bag. The Bed Sterilizer has an easy to use touch control panel, allowing you to select the appropriate setting for your size bed.

Reasonably priced

The Bed Sterilizer is easily the most economical way to combat bedbugs. No need to get a pest control service involved.
