According to Water World, "the pulp and paper industry is one of the heaviest users of water within the U.S. industrial economy, requiring 54 cubic meters on average of water per metric ton of finished product." 

A customer that operates a paper mill was interested in using our industrial ozone machines to treat wastewater created by the plant. Treating wastewater on site is important so that it can be reused. Before purchasing a unit, the company sent us samples of their wastewater to test the impact of ozone on the wastewater. Using an S-32G Industrial Ozone Generator, the water was treated at 4 and 8 hour intervals.

From our trials, it can be seen that the ozonated water is much clearer. While ozone alone will not remove all bacteria in these tests (since the bacteria colony numbers are so high to begin with) but the discoloration can be greatly improved.
