Here at A2Z Ozone, our team cares for your safety and wellbeing. That’s why we'd like to take this opportunity to reiterate some important safety tips to remember when operating your ozone generator. Ozone is a powerful way to sanitize and freshen surfaces and the air in your home. But, with great power comes great responsibility. (I couldn’t help myself)
- Before operation, please take the time to inspect the unit for any defects or faults. As with all electrical tools, frayed wires or a damaged outer shell could be potentially hazardous.
- If you are using your unit for the first time, there is a user’s manual that was included with your unit. Take the time to read through this important document for the proper use of the machine. This also includes helpful tips!
- When operating an ozone generator, please remember to remove people, pets, and plants from the area. Be sure to leave the area being treated immediately after your unit is turned on and only return once the ozone has dissipated.
- Under most conditions, the treated area should be safe to return to 30 minutes to 1 hour after the unit stops producing ozone. Treated spaces or buildings should be well-ventilated prior to re-entry.
Exposure to ozone can damage the lungs and cause harm to living things, so please take the necessary precautions when using an ozone generator. But, when used properly, ozone generators are an extremely helpful tool to keep your family safe from mold, germs, and allergens.
